Victoria Trading wants to be a forerunner in the food service in terms of circular purchasing. With circularity as an objective we have jointly started a project for the collective purchase of fresh eggs. Altogether, the members of Victoria Trading use 8 million eggs a year. One of the pioneers in the field of fresh sustainable eggs is Kipster. The sustainable chicken farm is the most animal-friendly, environmentally friendly and people-friendly of its kind. Kipster's approach and philosophy is fully in line with Victoria Trading's sustainability objectives.
After a thorough feasibility study led by Real Result, Victoria Trading decided to invest in the construction of a second Kipster barn. In this way, the members obtain the first right to purchase all products that come from the barn. This means that in addition to the 7.5 million sustainable eggs produced by this barn, Victoria Trading also guarantees the purchase of the ingredients for 25,000 chicken schnitzels, 25,000 cockerel burgers and a maximisation of value of 300,000 kilos of manure coming from the barn. By doing this, the members of Victoria Trading explicitly assume their social responsibility and set a new standard for sustainable entrepreneurship within the food service.
